Overview
The Guest RSO Scan feature allows you to search the registered sex offender database using guest and staff details. This process helps maintain safety standards by identifying potential matches with photographs and relevant offender information for your review. Initiate a new scan and evaluate the results to confirm or dismiss potential matches.
Guest Scan Initiation
Open New Guest Scan
To begin an RSO search for a guest, open the guest scan form. Click "New Guest Scan" to prepare the system for new guest details.
Enter Guest Details
To perform an accurate lookup, enter the guest's first name, last name, and date of birth into the corresponding fields.
Enter Staff Name
To record which staff member performed the RSO scan, type your name into the "Staff Name" field for accountability.
Run Guest Scan
To execute the RSO search with the entered guest and staff information, click "Run Scan". This initiates the background process to check for potential matches against the RSO database.
Scan Result Review
View Scan Results
To understand the outcome of the RSO search, review the presented results. The system displays whether a potential match was found or if no matches exist, providing immediate feedback on the guest's status.
Handle No Match Found
To confirm the guest does not appear in the RSO database, handle the 'no match found' result. Click "Go Back to Scan" to return to the historical lookup page or start a new search.
Handle Potential Match
To evaluate a possible RSO match, review the provided photograph, aliases, birth date, age, weight, race, sex, address, and charges. Compare this information with the guest present to verify their identity.
Verify In Person
When a potential match appears, physically compare the guest to the displayed photograph before making a decision.
Confirm False Match
To indicate the guest is not the individual in the potential match, click "False Match". This dismisses the potential match and records the search outcome.
Confirm True Match
To confirm the guest is the individual in the potential match, click "Confirm Match". This flags the guest as a registered sex offender and records the search outcome.
Return to Scan Page
To navigate back to the main Guest RSO Lookup page after reviewing scan results, click "Go Back to Scan". This allows you to view historical scans or initiate a new search.
