When a background check is flagged in Ankored, it moves to Under Review status. This is visible to the individual on their Ankored profile.
Here's how to handle it:
Access the report — Click "View" on the background check requirement in Ankored. This will take you directly to your background check provider's portal (JDP, NCSI, or Yardstik), where the full report is stored. You'll need your portal credentials to log in.
Review the report and make a decision — All adjudication decisions are made in the provider's portal, not in Ankored.
Status updates automatically — Once you make a decision, Ankored will sync the result:
Proceed / Clear → Member's status changes from Under Review to Completed
Adverse Action → Member's status changes to Qualifications Not Met, their access to Ankored is suspended, and they receive an automated email notification
Note: Background check reports are stored in your provider's portal, not in Ankored.
