Age verification is a secure digital tool that uses AI (and, when needed, human review) to confirm a player's age.
What You’ll Need
To complete age verification, please prepare:
A recent headshot photo of your child
One of the following documents:
Government-issued birth certificate
Government-issued passport
Government-issued ID
Documents from outside the U.S. are accepted.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Log into Ankored using your LeagueApps credentials.
2. Select your child’s profile
3. Click 'Begin Verification'
4. Review your child’s date of birth
This date is pulled automatically from your LeagueApps registration.
If the date of birth is correct, continue.
If it is incorrect, update it in your LeagueApps Member Profile before submitting.
The correction will sync to Ankored within a few minutes.
5. Upload a headshot photo. Choose a clear, recent photo of your child’s face.
6. Upload one supporting document
Select one:
Birth certificate
Passport
Government-issued ID
7. Review and consent
You’ll be asked to agree to:
Sensitive and biometric data policy
Confirmation that the information is accurate
8. Click Submit
Your documents will now be securely reviewed.
What Happens Next
Instant Verification
Most submissions (95–97%) are verified instantly — usually within 2 minutes.
You will see a verification badge displaying:
Your child’s photo
Verification date
Confirmed age
A QR code for fast check-in at events
If Your Submission Needs Review
In some cases, your verification may require human review, such as when:
Information between documents needs clarification
A document photo isn’t clear
If so, you will receive an email explaining:
Why the verification wasn’t approved
What needs to be corrected
How to resubmit
You can resubmit immediately. You are not locked out of the system.
