Explain Roles and Permissions

An overview of Roles and Permissions

Updated over 2 months ago

To access Roles and Permissions navigate to Manage Account > Roles and Permissions

Roles in the Ankored platform serve as profile types for users, each with unique permissions and requirements. They function in two main ways:

  1. They are associated with the user's permissions.

  2. They are linked to specific requirements configured in the Requirement Library.

Ankored offers several default permissions. It's important to thoroughly review each permission level to ensure that roles have the appropriate permissions assigned.

What are the key differences between permissions?

  • The Admin role possesses complete control and capabilities within the Ankored account.

  • The Director, Account Manager and Manager role has limited control and capabilities within the Ankored account

  • The Individual role is an individual user profile and their only capability within Ankored are to complete requirements.

In Ankored, you can change to label of the role by clicking the 3 dots, watch this video tutorial.
