How to Mark a Requirement as Complete

How admins mark a requirement as complete on a member's behalf, special cases like trainings in progress and rejected age verification, and when Mark Complete is not available.

Admins can manually mark a requirement as complete on a member's behalf. This is useful when a member has already completed a requirement outside of Ankored, and you want their profile to reflect it.

This feature is available only to users with the Admin permission level.

How to mark a requirement as complete

  1. Navigate to the member's profile and select the Mark Complete action link next to the requirement.

  2. Enter the original completion date of the requirement.

  3. Click Mark as Complete. The member's requirement status changes to Completed.

Tip: As a best practice, attach documentation for the requirement using the Upload button. You will then need to review and approve that file.

Special cases

  • Trainings in progress: you can mark a training complete even if the member has started it and it shows as In Progress, for example if they completed the same training somewhere else.

  • Age verification that was rejected: you can mark a rejected age verification complete, for example after you have confirmed the member's age another way. In age verification reports, these show with a Marked Complete status so you can tell them apart from members who were verified.

When you cannot mark a requirement as complete

Mark Complete is not available in every situation. Some requirements are completed and verified through an integrated provider or system, so their completion has to come from that source. This keeps your compliance records accurate and verifiable.

  • Integrated background checks that are Under Review or Waiting on Provider (JDP, NCSI, or Yardstik): the result has to come from your background check provider. To review a flagged background check, see your provider's admin guide.

  • U.S. Soccer Learning Center courses: completion comes directly from the U.S. Soccer Learning Center.
