Training Module Introduction

Initiate Training Session

After selecting a training module, the system prepares the training environment for you to access the content.

CDC Heads Up Concussion Training - This training, developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is designed specifically for youth sports coaches. This training will cover concussion basics, what to do when an athlete shows signs and symptoms of concussion, and will explore how coaches can contribute to concussion prevention and safety.

WHAT TO EXPECT: This training course combines didactic information with knowledge checks and illustrated case studies with a variety of scenarios to help you achieve the key learning objectives of the course.

Proceed to Training Content

Select 'Continue' from the software note to load the training module content and begin the first section. Progress through the module by following on-screen prompts, such as selecting 'Click here to continue the story' or using the 'NEXT' button.

This training will take approximately 30 minutes and will save a users "spot" if they disengage at any point.

There status will state "In-Progress"

Quiz & Results

Once the training is complete users will be required to take a quiz and receive a 80% score or higher. Upon completion they will receive their CDC Concussion Certificate that will automatically get uploaded to their Ankored profile.
