Understanding Your Status in Ankored
This guide explains what your profile status and requirement statuses mean in Ankored, and what actions you need to take.
π€ Your Profile Status
When you view your profile in Ankored, you'll see your overall status:
Not Activated
You haven't activated your Ankored account yet.
What you need to do: Check your email for an activation link and click "Activate Account."
π‘ Tip: Can't find the email? Check your spam folder or contact your organization's administrator to resend it.
Pending Confirmation
You signed up via a unique sign-up URL and need to confirm your email address.
What you need to do: Check your email from [email protected] and click the confirmation link to activate your profile.
Incomplete
You've activated your account but still have missing requirements.
What you need to do: Log in to Ankored to see which requirements need attention and complete them.
Optional
You have optional requirements that aren't mandatory, but you haven't completed them yet.
What you need to do: These requirements are not required, but you can complete them if needed by your organization.
Cleared
β Great job! You've completed all your assigned requirements, including any optional ones.
What this means: You're fully compliant and good to go.
None Assigned
Your profile is active, but you don't have any requirements assigned to your role.
What this means: No action needed. Your administrator will assign requirements if needed.
Disqualified
Your account has been locked due to a requirement outcome (such as a flagged background check).
What this means: Contact your organization's administrator for more information.
π Your Requirement Statuses
Each requirement you're assigned has its own status:
Completed
β You've successfully fulfilled this requirement. Nice work!
Incomplete
You haven't fulfilled this requirement yet, and action is needed.
What you need to do: Click on the requirement to start or complete it.
In-Progress
Applies to: Abuse Prevention Training, CDC Concussion Training, Player's Health Training and other integrated training
You've started the training video but haven't completed it yet.
What you need to do: Log back in, Click Continue Training and finish the training video.
Waiting on Applicant
Applies to: Background checks
You've started your background check application but haven't submitted it to the screening provider yet.
What you need to do: Complete and submit your background check application.
Waiting on Provider
Applies to: Background checks
You've submitted your background check application, and the third-party provider is currently screening it.
What this means: No action needed from you. This process is usually completed within 72 hours or less. You'll receive an email when it's complete.
Pending Review
You've manually uploaded a required document, and your organization's administrator is reviewing it.
What this means: Your administrator will review your upload and choose to either approve it, reset it, or reject it. You'll receive an email notification with their decision.
β οΈ Important: If your document is not approved, you'll receive an email explaining why it wasn't accepted. You'll then have the opportunity to upload a new document.
Expiring Soon
This requirement is nearing its expiration date.
What you need to do: You'll receive email alerts about the upcoming expiration. Re-complete the requirement to maintain a "Completed" status. You can re-complete it as early as 30 days before the expiration date, or you can remove the file and redo the requirement.
Expired
This requirement was previously completed but has now passed its expiration date.
What you need to do: Re-complete the requirement to return to "Completed" status.
Optional
This requirement is available but not mandatory.
What you need to do: You can complete it if your organization needs it, but it's not required. If you choose to complete this optional requirement, your status will be updated to "Completed."
