We apply extra protections when handling any information about children under 18:
Immediate deletion: Children's documents are permanently deleted as soon as verification is complete
No AI training: We never use children's information to train or improve our technology
Limited use: We only use the minimum information needed to verify identity
Secure partners: Any third-party services we use have strict policies never to store children's data
In rare cases where our system needs a human to review a child's document (because it couldn't read it automatically), we keep it for up to 7 days for quality assurance, then permanently delete it.

We use artificial intelligence to quickly and accurately read documents and verify identities. For adults, we may use anonymized data to improve our technology. For children under 18, we never use their data for AI training or improvement—only for immediate verification.
