Overview
The active and inactive user states feature allows you to manage your Ankored users more effectively. You can temporarily remove users who are not currently participating in certain groups or programs and easily reactivate their profiles in the future when needed.
What Does "Inactive" Mean?
When a user is set to inactive:
They cannot access their Ankored profile until you set them back to active
They do not receive any compliance notifications from Ankored
They do not factor into your overall compliance rate
How to Set Users as Inactive
Step 1: Navigate to Your Group
Go to your dashboard and select the relevant group (e.g., Fall Soccer)
Step 2: View Group Membership
Under the group membership list, you'll see users displayed with their active/inactive status
Use the "Show active users only" toggle to filter and display only currently active users
Step 3: Mark Users as Inactive
Select individual users or multiple users at once by checking the boxes next to their profiles
Click "Mark Inactive"
The selected users will now be set to inactive status
What Users See When Inactive
If a user tries to log in to their Ankored profile while set to inactive, they'll see this message:
"Your profile has been set to an inactive state by your organization admin. If you'd like to continue with your compliance in Ankored, please contact your [email protected]."
How to Reactivate Users
Step 1: Select Inactive Users
Check the box next to the user profiles you want to reactivate
You can select multiple users at once
Step 2: Set Back to Active
Click to set them back to active status
Step 3: User Notification
